As of Thursday, February 15, thirteen Međimurje tourist facilities and destination management organizations are holders of the first Good Travel certificates in Croatia, which guarantee their commitment to sustainable tourism. Figuratively speaking, as the director of the Tourist Board of Međimurje County explained at the awarding of the certificate, "certificate winners actually received a 'signature, seal and order number' that they manage their facility well and sustainably and that they have met all 60 criteria that determine the implementation of sustainable management practices." .
Certificates, specially intended for service in tourism, were awarded to the first holiday house in Croatia with the Ecolabel European certificate, Rural holiday house "Lina" in Pleškovec in Sv. Juraj na brega, whose owners are among the winners of this world certificate, and which were presented to them by Međimurje Prefect Matija Posavec together with the representative of the certification organization Green Destinations, Katarina Miličević.
