The award ceremony was held at the Log House The River Pearl in Brod na Kupa, which was declared the best holiday home, while the awards were presented to the best private renters in Croatia by Ankica Kruljac, president of the board of Novi List, Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board and Josip Pavić, State Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports, who also addressed the audience with appropriate speeches.
On that occasion, Director Staničić once again emphasized the importance of private rental companies, which make up more than 60 percent of the total Croatian tourist accommodation capacity.
Along with the main prizes awarded to Log House The River Pearl from Bordo na Kupa and Villa Alison Deluxe from Županići, the prize for the best rooms went to LAVilla from Osijek, while the best apartments went to Royal Apartments from Rovinj.
Prizes were also awarded in two special categories - for sustainability to Eco Rural Holiday House Lina in Lopatinec, Međimurje County, and for valorization of heritage to Island House Ošljak in Zadar County and Ladanjska House Mikin Dol from Draž in Baranja.
